Mrs Catherine Amponsah Chair of Governors
I have recently had the pleasure of working with Parklands Junior School, through my current line of work as an HR adviser. During this period, I have been able to familiarise myself with the school’s ethos and continue to build a good and sound relationship with the staff. Having shown an interest in joining the Governing Body at Parklands Junior, I was recently invited to do so in order to help steer the strategic direction in which the school wishes to move forward.
As a parent of two children, I am very enthusiastic about ensuring that our children are fully equipped with the skills needed to achieve their absolute best in every area of their education. As a result, given my commitment and strong interest in education, I am hopeful that, as a Governor (in view of my broad background knowledge and experience in HR and Accounting at a Masters level) this will enable me to make a positive contribution to assist in the implementation of the strategic direction of the school.
I look forward to supporting the school, staff and the children, to achieve their goals, coupled with the best educational success and benefits that they all deserve.
